CMYK is short for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Black, representation of color of the form cmyk(C%, M%, Y%, K%), where C, M, Y, and K are the percent values for the cyan, magenta, yellow, and black values of the color. The CMYK color system is used in printing inks for paper.
CMYK is a color model in which all colors are described as a mixture of these four process colors. CMYK is the standard color model used in offset printing for full-color documents. Because such printing uses inks of these four basic colors, it is often called four-colorprinting.
