How to Use Benchtop Spectrophotometer YS6060 for Liquid Tea Color Measurement
As we know our 3nh models YS series spectrophotometer, NS series spectrophotometer and NH series colorimeter all can measure liquid color difference, but is it able to measure liquid by using YS6060 benchtop spectrophotometer?
The answer is yes. Except this, benchtop spectrophotometer also can do what the regular portable spectrophotometer can't do like transparent liquid. If the liquid is transparent, the regular portable spectrophotometer will leakage the light and make the test result is not accuracy, but benchtop one has the transmission function. It can measure transmission value in the transmission bin, it is sealed and no light there. It is the best way to measure liquid no matter if it is transparent, or translucent or pasty.
Here are the steps to measure tea color different by YS6060 benchtop spectrophotometer.
First, prepare the instrument YS6060 spectrophotometer ready for measurement. Do white and calibration for transmission or reflectance according to the prompt.
Secondly, pour the tea into the glass cell that is a standard accessory for YS6060 benchtop spectrophotometer. While ths glass cell and tranmisson test components are optional accessory for YS6010 benchtop spectrophotometer.
Thirdly, put the glass cell in the transmission bin.
Then measure sample A, and take out of sample A, and compare with sample B. Finally we will get a test result for CIE lab delta E.
